OCHO RIOS JAMAICA - THE RESORT OF VARIOUS ADVENTURES

I shot this photo on my recent visit to ‪#‎ochorios‬ located along the ‪#‎northcoast‬ of ‪#‎Jamaica‬. Ocho Rios is a former fishing village that was developed by the JTB in the mid 1980's, There are shopping plazas, craft markets and fast food outlets. Ocho Rios offers the opportunity to experience the country without straying too far from the comforts and conveniences of home.
The town offers frequent docking of cruise ships at the pier that commands the town’s focus and gives it a fantastic feel, spiced up by the incessant entreaties of tourist guides and pleasant souvenir vendors.
If you come to Ochi expecting peace and solitude you are likely to be disappointed, as you will find, Ochi makes an excellent base for active, solvent travelers who wish to explore the scenic North Coast and to partake in adventures such as zipline tours, horseback riding and waterfall climbing. Here is where we come in. JAMAICA, ONCE YOU GO YOU KNOW AND YOU WILL WANT TO RETURN AGAIN

You can never get enough of Jamaica and for this reason you may decide that you would like to set up home in Jamaica. A friend of mine visited me earlier today and was asking me whether it was better to buy a piece of land and build a house in#jamaica from "scratch" or to buy a property that is already built. From my personal experience I gave him a picture of the pros and the cons of both options. I explained that buying land and building a property comes with a lot of stress and is never straight forward unlike purchasing a property that is already built.

I invite you to share from your personal experience of building a property from "scratch" or purchasing a property which is already built. BASKET WEAVING - SUPPORT THIS JAMAICAN CULTURAL HERITAGE

Have you ever walked through one of the local Jamaican markets and wished that you could have the skill of making some of the phenomenal crafts they sell?

JAMAICAN RANKS AS ONE OF THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE IN TERMS OF HEALTH, QUALITY OF LIFE AND ECO FOOTPRINTS

Why are Jamaicans such happy people? Well, for starters we have strong family bonds, emotional well-being from positive constructive leisure like going to beach, dancing to reggae music, humor, a spiritual base of faith, freedom of movement and good health. These are some of those qualities which I have observed to constitute the happiness which you will see transcends from our Jamaican people.
We do have issues here like corruption, however despite these problems, the Jamaican government is able  is able to maintain some of the best levels of health in the developing world, which is evidence by our high average life expectancy. Let's also not forget that we are also able to maintain a good level of ecological footprint, which puts Jamaica towards the top of the Happy Planet Index (HPI) table. The HPI measures happiness levels in relation to a country’s consumption of its natural resources. Its aim is to prove that you can be happy without destroying the planet.
The West and the developing countries tend to sacrifice things that are important in life such as families, friends, and time in the chase for money and career progression. The question is, If we become rich at the expense of the planet, what good is that? The HPI is a refreshing and practical measurement which balances our health, quality of life, and our effects on the earth. I refer  to this as  the "new economics". #jamaica   #montegobay     #ochorios  #holiday #tourexcursion #traveltojamaica#jamaicagetallright #airporttransfershttp://pp-jamaica-tours-transportation.blogspot.co.uk/Visit http://www.paradisepalmsjamaicavilla.com/ for 4 Bedroom Villa sleep 9 persons in Montego bay Jamaica.  https://paradisepalmsjamaicatransportation.com/
